I was prompted to write this post via Mama Kat's writing prompt #5. (10 Hotels You Wouldn't Hate Vacationing In).
4. Turtle Bay Resort, North Shore - Oahu, HI. Located in a quiet area of Oahu, I've always wanted to stay here, It's a short drive to the famous Polynesian Cultural Center.
Since I was a formal travel agent, this is right up my ally. I'm going to focus on beach resorts as that's my obsession.
1. Atlantis Resort. Nassau, Bahamas. My husband and I are actually going here in a few weeks on a corporate retreat. It has water slides, dolphins and casinos. All I need is the beach!
2. Grand Wailea. Wailea, Maui, HI. We stayed next door at the Marriott and had some serious pool envy of the Grand Wailea. You can't beat the location for whale watching and snorkeling. Plus, they are known for their spa.
3. Four Seasons, Bora Bora. Can I just move in? I've always dreamed of sleeping in a tiki hut over the water! I sent a client here and heard about his fab trip for years.
4. Turtle Bay Resort, North Shore - Oahu, HI. Located in a quiet area of Oahu, I've always wanted to stay here, It's a short drive to the famous Polynesian Cultural Center.
5. Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico. When my husband worked for another Ritz, we heard so many great things about this resort. It's surrounded by coral reefs and tropical forests. And this gorgeous bed...Yes please!
6. The Sands at Grace Bay - Turks & Caicos. All suite resort located on an incredible powder soft sandy beach.
7. Lizard Island Resort. Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Secluded beaches. Snorkeling. Diving. It doesn't get better than this.
8. Four Seasons Resort at Peninsula Papagayo Costa Rica. This view alone makes me swoon! This resort has plenty to do including riding a zipline through the tropical forests, trips to volcanos and of course the beaches.
9. The St. Regis, Bali Resort, Bali. Can I take a nap on one of these hammocks? Ever since the movie "Eat, Pray, Love", I have dreamed of visiting Bali.
10. Soneva Kiri Resort Koh Kood, Thailand. Stay in a private villa also dine in a treetop dining pod.
Which one would you like to visit?

I can tell you were a travel agent. Your descriptions made me long to go away to each and every one of them! Thanks for the dream vacation from my desk!
Ooh I'm interested to hear what you think of Atlantis! My kids have been begging to go!
I will let you know about Atlantis too! My kids are having a major freakout that we can't take them with us.
